Frost were asked to explore options to maximise the use of this site. The existing office building had previously been granted permission for a change of use to C3 residential, however after reviewing the heritage value of the existing buildings we proposed demolishing and replacing the business centre.

The proposal comprised 7 high quality family dwellings. 4 would be semi detached Town Houses, incorporating traditional design and detailing which would be more appropriate for the conservation area. Simple but decorative stone detailing on the first and second floor level help to accentuate the traditional proportions.

The other 3 dwellings are terraced townhouses, designed with a more contemporary approach. The building divides into two interlocking contemporary elements, a brick base to the ground and first floors with a set back, standing seam mansard roof.
