Freddie Koch – Architect

Freddie started her architectural journey with her Bachelor studies at University of East London. After gaining valuable work experience within the UK, she went on to complete her Master of Architecture with distinction at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands in 2017. Her Master’s thesis explored sustainable, low-tech and community focused building for urban villages in Bandung, Indonesia and carefully considered existing refuse disposal challenges and there potential to contribute to the developments functional cycle.  The project was shortlisted for multiple awards. She completed her formal Part 3 qualification in 2019 at Westminster University in London.

She has worked at multiple practices gaining experience on large scale commercial and mixed-use developments both within the UK and abroad. More recently and prior to joining Frost Architects, she has focused on heritage projects, leading teams on refurbishments and extensions of private residential Listed buildings.

Freddie is an enthusiastic rock climber, trained yoga teacher and enjoys hiking and reading.
