Parkhall Business Centre, the thriving Workspace hub in Dulwich, has undergone several phases of development. This project, completed by Interior Motives, represents the latest stage and includes a full refurbishment of the 4th floor to include office units, breakout space, tea point & WCs, along with new roof terraces with stunning views over Canary Wharf & The City. At the ground floor entrance we also delivered a new reception space and refurbished two meeting rooms.
The open plan breakout space/tea point forms the stunning centerpiece of the refurbishment. The high ceilings make for an airy, ventilated space, while the carefully considered layout of the furniture and bespoke plant shelving provide intimacy within the open space, with plants shrouding meeting booths to create a sense of privacy. The undulating furniture & structures add eye-catching variety to the form of the space.
Wellbeing & Biodiversity are high priorities for Workspace across their portfolio of co-working spaces. A proliferation of carefully selected plantlife fills the space. The patterned tiling splash wall was designed to simulate a canopy, and these floral accents flow into the reception desk & meeting room, accentuating the commitment to a clean, green environment that modern tenants demand.
The carefully selected finishes add to the cool, modish atmosphere. The soft yet striking lights scattered at varied heights across the ceiling generate an atmosphere of cool and contribute to the visual variety. The use of feature lighting extends to the phone booth, a key demand for modern flexi-working spaces that provide privacy.
At ground floor level, the meeting room is coolly clad, serving to highlight the floral feature wall. Subtle touches in the clock, lighting & pipes add character and individuality.
